Response to “Tether how bad Will it Be?”
Coins, News 2018-02-02In a post earlier this week I highlighted the controversy around Tether and asked “How bad will it be?” After a bit of research I have concluded “not too bad” because,
- the cryptomarket is in free-fall now so it can’t get much worse
- Coinbase declared profits of over $1bn so Bitfinex must have plenty of cash in the bank to sort it out if it has to
- the market has priced in Tether being underfunded
- Tether is less than 1% of the Cryptomarket according to Coinmarketcap.
